The Ballroom in Doncaster’s illustrious Empress Building is one such venue.
A vast space, complete with high ceilings and many of the original 1920s fixtures and fittings, as well as a large stage overlooking the amazing sprung
dancefloor, the Empress Ballroom promises a fabulous location capable of holding up to 350 revellers who are spending the last night they will ever all spend
in a room together.
We have a bar stocked with non-alcoholic drinks, plus a full catering service
offering a range of hot and cold food, either in buffet form or a full sit-down

With our PA system and microphone, plus projector and big screen facilities,
you can enlist the help of your film and media students to put together a video
montage of precious memories you have captured on film, as well as deliver
your end-of-year awards if you're having them.
We have a vast network of entertainers in our phone book, so the team at the
Empress will be more than happy to arrange appropriate entertainment, such
as a DJ or live band. Alternatively, if any of your students are skilled, then why
not get them to showcase their talents for their schoolmates?
All of our Prom and Leavers Party packages can be tailored to your school’s
budget, with a choice of food and drinks, personalised school or even sponsor
banners, and we have partnerships with professional photographers who can
set up a space for capturing guests as they arrive and they will have the
opportunity to purchase digital or hard copies at reasonable rates.
